Loving Lately Vol. II
Happy spring, friends! I’ve said it before, but if you’re anything like me, you, too, think that springtime is the most fun time to shop. We’re no longer covering every outfit with a coat, and our toes can see the light of day again! The warm-weather dresses, sets and separates are so good this season. This season also always makes me want to hit refresh— on my space, my routines, and even my daily habits. So today I’m sharing a few things that have made their way home with me lately — pieces I’m loving, things that are making life feel a little lighter, and small switches that are helping me ease into the season.
DedCool Mochi Milk Travel Spray I know — it’s kind of an unexpected first pick! But hear me out: the scent is heavenly. It’s warm, with soft musky undertones, and somehow it actually lasts on me — which is saying a lot because perfumes usually disappear within an hour on my skin. This one goes the distance without needing a mid-day spritz. Plus, the size is perfect for testing it out or tossing in a bag for travel or on-the-go.
A good white pair of shorts is a necessity for summer, and Merlette’s Pollock Short is a tried and true. Not see through, the perfect weight and can be dressed up or down. Use ALEXHE15 for 15% off.
I’m currently pairing them with this striped Parker Tee from Tuckernuck. A perfect spring basic.
A recently discovered love of mine is my new Hatch Restore 3 alarm. It seems like every podcast or book I listen to recently, I hear some new bit of information or research on the power of sleep. I didn’t think an alarm could truly aid with sleep, but this guy has proven me wrong. Anna Cline also uses this one every night, so I’d say we are officially a Hatch family!
How are these still in stock? Every time I share these Hazy Green Sambas, I get an influx of “omg I need!” messages. They add such a fun pop of color to an outfit!
A practical necessity — A solid bra. And I’ve found just the brand — Eby makes the best bras in my opinion.
If you haven’t heard, ShopBop is running a sale and this Simkhai checkered shirt dress is at the top of my recommendation list. So easy and light for the summer and would look so cute with sandals or those ^ Sambas!
And speaking of sandals, the Schutz Kaya are a perfect neutral staple for this time of year. I love the strappy look without the hassle of a tie.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I’m a big fan of Aureum accessories. Their new arrivals include their No. 14 belt in a cream pony hair design. It’s beautiful and pairs perfect with all the spring pastels. You can use ALEXH20 for 20% off!
I got this Veronica Beard knit dress in a week or so ago and have already worn it a handful of times. Would be so cute for Memorial Day!
Throwing a fun Amazon find in the mix! This scalloped shower curtain looks much more luxe than the price tag suggests, and I’m excited to try it in a client’s bathroom!
And ending on a classic from my favorite, Tuckernuck — The Marcy Midi dress. How beautiful would this be for Easter Sunday?
And that’s it! You can sift through my other April finds here. I’d love to see what has caught your eye recently too!
